Saint Francis International School was founded in 1985 by Mrs Diane Proietti who served as School Principal until July 2022. The principles upon which she based the school’s educational model are the same principles that we proudly uphold today.
Despite our name, we are a non-denominational school and we welcome people of all backgrounds, cultures and religions into our community.
The school is a long-standing member of the RISA International schools group, representing the best international schools in the region of Lazio.
We provide a blended American and International curriculum to our students who represent a wide range of nationalities. We also offer a pathway through which children can complete the Italian State exams at the end of Grades 5 and 8. Our school is one-form entry, allowing staff, children and parents to get to know–and support–each other closely.
